If you are looking for a positive physical and mental challenge, want to try a different sport or are simply looking for a method to forge a strong, lean physique with machine like endurance, you have come to the right place!
Kettlebell Sport is an endurance weightlifting sport, born in Russia in the past century and now spreading around the globe like wildfire, people of all ages and from all walks of life are discovering the benefits, thrills and fun of lifting kettlebells competitively.
The lifts contested are: jerk, snatch and clean & jerk (known as long cycle) and the kettlebell lifter’s aim is to complete as many repetitions as possible of a particular lift in a 10-minute time frame without putting the kettlebells down.
This means that Kettlebell Sport, unlike any other weight lifting sport, develops huge amounts of cardiovascular fitness and endurance as well as strength.
We began introducing kettlebell training in Nottingham back in 2007 and have been teaching Kettlebell Sport since 2012 .
We are proud to say that since then we have grown a strong team of men and women, some of which have gone all the way to represent England at world level with great results!
For us the best part of Kettlebell Sport it is how inclusive it is: anyone can get to grips with it and anyone can succeed in it!
Men, women, young old everyone can reap the rewards of improved health, vitality, strength and stamina that Kettlebell Sport has to offer.
The ever-growing national and worldwide community of kettlebell lifters is also incredibly friendly and supportive. Many of our lifters have travelled to places they had never been before and met people of all nationalities thanks to our sport!
For these reasons and so many more we are absolutely in love Kettlebell Sport and we are sure you will be too!
