Laurence Clemente, head coach.
Laurence is an active kettlebell sport athlete and one of the founding members of the Organization of Kettlebell Sport England.
For the past 10 years Laurence has studied the art of kettlebell lifting with top coaches from Russia, Ukraine, Italy, Ireland and the US. This knowledge gets passed on to our members and athletes on an everyday basis, and the results speak for themselves.
Laurence has represented England three times so far:at the Hamburg 2014 I.U.K.L. World Championships as an amateur, winning the bronze in his category. At the Turin 2016 I.G.S.F. World Championships Laurence won bronze again, this time as a professional level lifter, making him the the 1st ever professional kettlebell lifter from England to make the podium at a World Championship.
Laurence also writes a regular column on Kettlebell Sport for the renown strength and conditioning website, Breaking Muscle.
Melanie Clemente, group training leader.
A skilled kettlebell lifter with a background in martial arts (Taekwondo black belt since 2003) Melanie tried her hand in Kettlebell Sport back in 2012, shortly after qualifying as a kettlebell instructor.
In 2015 Melanie was one of the first women in Britain to compete with double kettlebells, and is a UK record holder in double kettlebell long-cycle (clean & jerk).
